- The meeting was called to order at 3:35 by Anna.
- Motion: (Made by: Heidi/Second: Jenni) Motion to approve the minutes from the meeting on 9/14/23 – 8 in favor/ 0 opposed/ 0 abstained. Motion Carries
- PTA News
- Harvest Festival on Friday – 850 attendees expected.
- Principal News
- Halloween will be observed on Friday 10/27 for parade and parties to keep activities on a shorter day and to eliminate interference on a brain booster day.
- 10/31 may be a spirit day with Halloween shirts or orange and black clothes, but no costumes.
- Watch Dog Dads – kickoff on 10/17 to recruit volunteers.
- Flyer sent out and this will be posted on social media and parent square.
- Library – books are quite old and will be replaced with ~5000 new books.
- Approve Cell Tower Funds
- Teachers traditionally receive money from this fund for classroom supplies and PBIS – this was not budgeted last year so a revision is being requested.

- School Safety Plan Final Plan – Reviewed and Completed
- #1 safety concern was determined to be the lack of cameras at the back of the school – requesting grant funding to address this concern.
- Digital Citizenship Final Plan – Reviewed and Completed
- Safe Walking Route Final Plan – Reviewed and Completed
- Added request for crossing guard at Country wood & Sego Lily Intersection and request to evaluate neighborhood south of Sego Lily for busing.
- Budget
- Reviewed budgets for Cell Tower, School, TSSA and Land Trust Budget
- 4th grade aid/progress monitor has been hired (20 hrs/week) this will be paid with the Land Trust budget.
- Math Intervention Aids – requesting an additional hour/week for 2 aids (increase to 18 hrs/week). This was discussed and unanimously approved.
