Last Friday several 4th and 5th graders competed in our school level Book Blitz competition. They spent the year reading books and meeting to talk about the books in preparation for this day. They did amazing and we are so proud of the work they put in to it. Book Blitz also taught them how to work as a team, stay committed to a long term project, and good sportsmanship.
We also want to give a huge shoutout to Mrs. Ward, our Book Blitz coordinator. She put in so many hours throughout the year helping the students prepare for this day. Also a big thank you to all the parent volunteers on the day of the competition, as well as throughout the year. Many hands make light work.
