PTA News:

• Veteran’s Day Wall 
• Science fair: project ideas are due at the end of the month
• Reflections Awards Assembly: November 21st
• Native American Heritage Month: PTA provided clay to the art teacher and all the students created pinch pots
• Volunteers are needed: literacy month committee – we need someone willing to head up the committee. Also looking for a couple people to be on the nomination committee for Treasurer 

 

Principal News:

• New Book Blitz coordinator 

• Student Council Sub Days: they will be attending a conference on Thursday. Halley asked for the committee to approve 2 sub days out of cell tower so that both of the 5th grade teachers can go with the student council students to this. The SCC gave approval for this.

• Pull through lane – concerns of safety. Cars aren’t watching. Orange barrels will be put back to block the pull through lane. Cones will need to be ordered to block the unloading/loading area by the cafeteria
• No dog sign will be replaced
• Patrol officer to be out front before and after school
• Budget:
  • Land trust: we have spent $7,889.17 (this is for our 3 reading interventionists)
  • TSSA: This includes .25 of social worker salary, math interventionists, PBIS rewards store, attendance incentives, and teacher supplies. So far we have spent $10,909.05
  • We don’t have access to the cell tower budget
