Thank you PTA for the great celebration of our school! Last Wednesday they provided lunch from Café Rio for the faculty and staff. We will have a fun assembly to celebrate the students Friday morning. We are ranked the second school out of all of the schools in Utah on the Schooldigger website. This means that our students are paying attention, asking questions, and following through with their school work. Learning takes a lot of work that involves mistakes and sometimes frustration but it’s always worth the effort. I am very proud of our students and think it’s a privilege to be part of their lives. Thank you also to all of you at home. This celebration is also about all you do to support your children!
Monday, February 3
- Start counting your minutes of reading! You can count all minutes, even weekend! Turn minutes in every Monday through the end of February.
- The window of time for signing up for a parent teacher conference appointment starts today at 7:30 AM and closes on February 20th
Tuesday, February 4
- PTA Meeting at 10:00 AM in the conference room.
- Eastmont Middle School Orientation for parents and students at 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM. Class selection cards are due back on February 7th. Class selection cards should be turned into our 5thgrade teachers.

Literacy Month Kick Off Week!
- Monday wear black and white for newspaper day
- Tuesday wear super hero clothing because reading makes us super smart
- Wednesday wear sunglasses because reading makes us bright
- Thursday wear socks so we can kick up our heels for reading
- Friday wear red because we are red-y to read
