We will be starting Tech Troupe for fourth and fifth grade students in January. Miss Winter will be teaching the course. Students will learn computer science and technology skills. The application is due Friday, December 13th. The classes will be on Wednesdays starting January 8th until February 26th. There will be 25 students selected to participate. Students need to be able to attend on a regular basis and be picked up promptly at 4:00 PM.
The fifth grade had their N.O.V.A. graduation last week. Officer Wekluk from the Sandy City Police Department is our school resource officer. He teaches fifth grade students about life skills that will help students be successful. N.O.V.A. stands for Nurturing Opportunities Values and Accountability. We appreciate all of the support the Sandy City Police Department provides us as a school.
Check out our PTA bulletin board encouraging us to learn about human rights during the month of December.
We also encourage students to provide service sometime during the month!
