The cafeteria staff is asking that they be notified of any extra people who plan to eat in the cafeteria so that they can plan accordingly. If your child is going to have a parent or other visitor each lunch with them (and order a school lunch), please notify the office no later than 9AM that day (the day before is preferable). The meals also need to be paid for ahead of time.
If the visitor is not ordering a school lunch they, do not need to notify the office.
