PTA News
-We have volunteers for all of our major events. Still looking for volunteers for the nomination committee.
-Tonight is meet the candidates at Union Middle School
-Reflections due date is Oct 23rd – Entries are down this year from last year
-Class parties on October 30th
-Fabulous Freddy’s spirit night and Red Ribbon week next month
Principal News
-SCC membership must have an exact number of members in our bylaws (will be added to our agenda for the next month)
-We need to vote in the vice chair – Amy Hilton

-September drill was lockdown
-October: secure drill
-Next month is bomb threat, with an evacuation
Digital Citizenship Plan
-Digital citizenship funding has ceased, so Halley is taking this over
-A link to a Digital Citizenship District report will be sent to the SCC committee. We went over the information on this website as a committee.
-Digital safety report was completed as a committee
School Safety Plan
-This will be moved to next month
Safe Walking Routes Plan
-Went over our current safe walking route plan
-Concern about a lack of crosswalk on Sego lilly
-entrance//exit is narrow
-change crossing guard to help cross sego lily and country wood

-$2,000 was approved to be spent on Christmas gifts for faculty from principal
-Jenna and Heather want to know if there are things that the school needs, or individual teacher needs.
-Halley will ask the BLT if there is a need (are the teachers planning on the $250?)
-Maybe another person to help with recesses as well as behaviors.
