PTA News
-Fundraiser going on this week. We have reached about 40% of our goal. Fun Run is on Friday.
-Book Fair next week
-Tuesday between conferences – will be open for one hour after school
-Sell school shirts at Book Fair
-In-n-Out spirit night and Steam night coming up
-All teachers and Halley are members of the PTA now
Principal News
Review 2026-27 Land Trust and TSSP Goals
- Land Trust: Last year we had $53,687 and carried over $4,130. We will start with $57,817
- TSSA: Last year we started with $69,891, carried over $6,638. Total this year is $76,528
- $10,000 of the money that was allotted for summer days for teachers-being requested to cover the cost for the kindergarten aides
- So far we have at least 80% of our students scoring on benchmark for reading
Monthly Safety Drill Report – Fire/Evacuation, Lockdown
-Crisis go wasn’t working for the fire drill and the lockdown. We are still working on figuring out the best way to do our drill.
Cell Tower for Subs for BLT Day Sept 30th and Feb 9th
-We get 6 subs for district BLT meeting – can we pay for 2 others from cell tower to attend the district BLT meeting. This was approved
-$36,481.06 is in the cell tower account –
-SCC agreed to continue to fund Book Blitz and choir through cell tower.
Review of council’s stewardship items – Land Trust Funds, TSSA budgets, Cell Tower
-Reviewed what each of the budgets are for and what can come out of all of them.

-The sign in the pull through lane that is in the ground is not as stable as needed.
